Short Educational Workshops

The Center for Precision Manufacturing (CPM) provides a range of workforce training solutions that leverage the College of Engineering & Polymer Science’s knowledge-base and capabilities. This Center specializes in customized training developed specifically for your employees. Depending on your company’s particular needs, our courses can be taught on-site at your location, or at our state-of-the-art facility on the campus of The University of Akron. Many companies prefer on-site training because it allows many employees to be trained without paying for their travel-related expenses.

Our programs are designed to enhance on-the-job effectiveness for all professionals working in precision manufacturing, particularly, precision finishing and metrology, Industry 4.0, and Modeling. We look forward to hearing from you and sharing valuable ways we can help your company grow and excel in today’s competitive market. Contact us by e-mail at sfarhad@uakron.edu.
